Valentine’s day, What about some Sex Dust?

Sex dust! I know that I have your attention now! You might be tired of your green smoothie or juice! Well I am. And as Valentine’s day is around the corner you might want to be on top of your beauty, energy and creativity.

Today I going to share with you my favourite alternatives. I am a huge fan of nut milks and teas, they are going amazingly well together.

I love drinking my warm water and lemon first thing in the morning, this routine changes as well from weeks to weeks. I like to add in some fresh sliced ginger, sometimes apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, honey. The base is always water and 1/2 squeezed organic lemon juice.

When it comes to my smoothies it is the same, I like to change but lately I enjoyed nut milks with 1 tsp of matcha combine with 1 tsp of chaï powder or Moon Dust.

Ready for Valentine’s Day

During a trip in LA, I discover this beautiful brand: Moon Juice. It became my favourite address and I tried pretty much their entire menu. I came back with some samples as they offer a variety of little magical pouches to spark joy in your hot beverage on the go. I am sure you will enjoy them too.

Beauty, Brain, Dream, Spirit, Power and Sex dust I tried them all and they are all delicious.

You can shop them locally in Mendocino at Danielle’s Bloom skincare and makeup, 45040 Albion street and for my far away friends and followers by clicking on the link below.

How to make your own milk?

If you have a high power blender type: Vitamix or a NutriBullet simply place 1/2 cup of your favourite nuts with 3 cup of filtered water and blend! In less than a minute you will have a quart of delicious nut milk.

I don’t soak my cashew nuts when I am in a rush, but I recommend it for your almond or rice milk.

You can find many alternatives for animal milk, yogurt, and other dairy products in the supermarkets as well.  The number of people drinking and using them is rising, so there are a lot more options out there than there used to be!

Regular milk has a lot of potential negative effects on your body- including leeching calcium from your bones (yes- this is true!), causing inflammation in your body, and causing digestive problems because 75% of the world’s population is genetically unable to digest milk!

Even if you don’t feel the negative effects from drinking regular milk, I encourage you to give some of these other options a try!

Alternatives are:

  1.  Almond milk – light and tasty; it also contains a lot of vitamins such as E and B, magnesium, calcium, iron, even healthy fats!
  2. Coconut milk – thick with subtle coconut flavor and high in healthy saturated fats.
  3. Cashew milk – has the least nutty flavor of all nut milks and it is also a great source of healthy fats, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and zinc.
  4. Hemp milk – made from hemp seeds and has watery texture. It is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which is important for heart health.
  5. Rice milk – low in fat, neutral, easy to digest.

Since people have different tastes, I would recommend you experiment with a couple of different options to see what you like the best!  Just make sure whichever option you choose is not loaded with sugar or other strange ingredients.  Remember – the fewer the ingredients the better!
